Project Background and Export Overview

This case covers a successful crane retrofit project for a foreign-funded precision machinery manufacturing enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. On-site Static Load Test Process

After installation at the Vietnam site, engineers from the Vietnam National Center for Technological Safety Inspection co-hosted the test. This tested steel structure strength and braking safety performance.

  • Test Preparation:Check the electrical circuits, limit switches, and wire rope reeving comprehensively. Calibrate VFD parameters and prepare standard cast iron weights.
  • 25 Times Static Load Implementation:The test load was set at 1.25 times the rated load (6.25 tons). Lift the 6.25-ton weights 100mm off the ground, then cut the power and hover for 10 minutes. During this period, the FEM standard hoist structure and brakes closed tightly. After unloading, a laser rangefinder detected no permanent plastic deformation on the main girder. Welds and connectors sustained no damage, passing acceptance at one time.

Three months after delivery, the Vietnamese customer sent back official technical feedback. The report pointed out that the 5t FEM standard hoist performed excellently in hoisting and positioning precision machinery molds. Its micro-speed operation reduced the mold docking impact rate to zero. Meanwhile, thanks to the high protection class design, the equipment experienced zero electrical failures in the high-humidity environment of the Vietnamese rainy season.
