Penang, Malaysia is a major electronics and machinery hub in Southeast Asia. Many local factories face narrow indoor space and low manual efficiency. Traditional overhead cranes also create coverage blind spots in these facilities. The client partnering with HSCRANE is a modern precision mold machining workshop. With expanding production, their internal logistics encountered frequent bottlenecks. They urgently needed compact lifting equipment to save floor space and operate flexibly. After evaluating parameters and site conditions, the client selected HSCRANE’s flagship product. They chose our 2-ton wall-mounted jib crane. The wall-mounted jib crane requires zero valuable floor space. It mounts directly onto existing steel columns or concrete walls. This perfectly met the client’s tight workshop layout requirements.

HSCRANE tailored a strict wall-mounted jib crane solution for the client. This solution matches their workshop span, lifting height, and high-intensity needs. The core parameter configuration is shown in the table below:
|
Technical Parameter |
Design Specification |
Operational Advantage |
|
Rated Capacity |
2.0 tons (2000 kg) |
Meets daily lifting needs for most molds and precision workpieces. |
|
Jib Rotation Radius |
4.5 meters |
Covers large areas, easily reaching two adjacent CNC machining centers. |
|
Effective Lifting Height |
3.8 meters |
Adapts to workshop headroom, ensuring safe operating clearance. |
|
Rotation Angle |
180° flexible manual rotation |
Easy operation and precise positioning enable smooth multi-station transitions. |
|
Matching Hoist |
European low-headroom wire rope hoist |
Runs smoothly with low noise, dual speeds, and overload protection. |

After confirming the final plan, HSCRANE quickly scheduled order production. The tropical climate in Southeast Asia features high heat and humidity. To ensure durability, we implemented strict standards for the jib crane:

The HSCRANE logistics team used modular moisture-proof wooden crates for the wall-mounted jib crane. This addressed international ocean shipping constraints and long-distance transport risks. All electrical components were sealed with vacuum moisture-proof films. The cargo departed from a Chinese port and arrived at Port Klang, Malaysia in two weeks. It was then transported to the Penang factory.
Project results: With remote video guidance from HSCRANE engineers, local technicians installed the equipment quickly. Wall anchoring, jib hanging, and circuit debugging took only one day. After one month of operation, mold lifting efficiency increased by over 40%. Worker labor intensity decreased significantly, earning high praise from the end client.

This case records the export of HSCRANE’s 2-ton wall-mounted jib crane to Penang, Malaysia. We analyzed client site conditions and provided rigorous non-standard designs. We also implemented localized anti-corrosion manufacturing and efficient delivery. This project demonstrates the strong capabilities of Chinese intelligent manufacturing in niche lifting sectors.
