Successful Export of HSCRANE 5t FEM Standard Single Girder Overhead Crane to Pakistan

Recently, HSCRANE successfully completed production and shipping of a 5-ton LDQ FEM standard single girder overhead crane. This equipment will cross oceans to a modern machining workshop in Karachi, Pakistan. It provides efficient and precise lifting support for daily material handling. Rigorous production manufacturing and quality control process

High-quality lifting equipment requires strict workshop manufacturing processes. For this 5-ton overhead crane exported to Pakistan, we took these production and quality control measures:

• Steel cutting and pre-treatment:Main and end beams use CNC plasma cutters for high-precision cutting. We performed strict shot blasting to Sa2.5 grade before welding to ensure primer adhesion and corrosion resistance.
• Main girder welding formation:For the 6.55-meter span main girder, we used advanced automatic submerged arc welding. Welds formed beautifully and underwent 100% non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure absolute load-bearing safety.
• Whole machine pre-assembly testing:Before shipment, the quality department pre-assembled the main girder, end girder, wire rope hoist, and electrical cabinet. We focused on testing traveling concentricity, dual-speed switching fluency, and limit device sensitivity.

Standardized export packaging plan

Considering high salt spray and humid environments during long ocean shipping to Pakistan, HSCRANE’s packaging team created a high-standard export protection plan:

• Large steel structural parts:We used a bare installation with key protection mode. After spraying two layers of epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, we wrapped outer layers with high-strength rainproof cloth and thick plastic film. Anti-collision corner guards were added to prevent mechanical scratches during lifting and shipping.
• Core drive and lifting mechanisms:Hoists, motors, and reducers were placed in custom fumigation-free export wooden boxes. The bottom had moisture-proof film, and equipment inside was secured with high-strength straps and wood blocks. We stuffed shock-proof bubble pads around to completely prevent shifting and collisions.
• Electrical system and accessories:Frequency conversion control cabinets, conductor rails, aviation plugs, and remote controls were packed in sealed moisture-proof wooden boxes with sufficient industrial desiccant. Installation manuals, electrical diagrams, and product certificates were enclosed in waterproof files.

Overhead Crane Smooth shipping and packing

In late April 2026, after final packing list checks, the 5-ton European single girder overhead crane was successfully loaded into a container at HSCRANE’s factory. Professional loading teams used heavy forklifts and special rigging to push main girders and wooden boxes into a 40-foot high cube container (40HQ). We used steel wire ropes and tensioners for cross-reinforcement at bottom hanging rings. Currently, trucks carrying the equipment have left for major domestic ports and will board ships to Karachi Port.
